Used to work with a bloke who used to describe his trip round Hangar Lane gyratory in edtail, every day, with full explanations of what happened at every set of lights, who had not observed the correct lane discipline, any interesting pedestrian manoeuvres (sp?) and any changes to the shops. To be fair, he had no friends and everyone avoided him at the coffee machine but he carried on regardless.
One morning the travel reporter on LBC said: "We have told you about Hanger Lane Gyratory in every travel bulletin for the past six months. We are formally issuing notice we are not going to bother ever again. You can now just assume it is snarled up."
But it has got a lot worse since those days.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.
