      That's a great sight to see - but you need to be in a jeep with like-minded people who are happy to wait for something to happen, running the risk that nothing does.

      Too many people on safari are just ticking everything off. When I went, a guy in another jeep used to collar people at dinner and basically list everything - 6 elephants, 3 lions, 4 warhog, big group of hippos etc. etc. etc.

      I believe he was American.
