Girlies were a little bit scared of some of the people there - and I had a text from MrsF when I was off looking saying "Help, I'm surrounded by geeks"

I have a Luke and a Yoda cardboard cut out at home - MrsF bought me Luke (who used to stand in our Lounge) and I bought the Yoda off eBay.

And when I left my last permie job, they bought me a lightsabre as a leaving present.

You could pay for autographs, but it was a real rip-off.

Mark Hammill charges £80 an autograph. Cheapest was £10 for someone like the Jabba puppeteer. Other big stars were about £40 a photo

My son wanted to go to that... I laughed at the concept of buying tokens for using against collecting autographs.

I didn't let him go in the end!
