Enfilade, A term used in military tactics, and taught to all officer cadets by military academies throughout the western world.
Both british Army and Navy RM C Cadets are taught Defilade and enfilade Tactically both in the classroom and in the field.
It is a basic maneuver and easily understood by the simplest of people, I don't understand what the confusion is with relation to this simple term.
