It's not sunny here any more.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostJust popped round to the chemist's for my prescription. Quite nice and sunny out there now
Still rather chilly, though
As soon as I started staggering down the hill it began getting hazy.
And it's really hazy, verging on overcast, now.Comment

One on the front bench asks the most involved and convoluted questions I've ever encountered.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostThey are dense.
I'm working with dense people also. Or the more popular term for them these days is "not proactive".
Then he can't understand the answers.
Classic this afternoon was being unable to edit a file because it was write protected.
Seemed amazed when I took the attribute off using right click.
Not as if I'd navigated to the directory using cd\mplab8\student progs\dumb\ and then used attrib -r *.* or anything.
The guy sitting to his right is equally dense.
I must be teaching them wrong.Comment

I had to use IE this afternoonOriginally posted by TheFaQQer View PostSort of fixed. Doesn't work in Firefox or Chrome, but works in IE.
Bad news is that I have to use IE 11 now
to inform IT Services that the projector has died.
It passed away sometime this morning and no one noticed because it was so dim anyway.
Since it's end of term on Friday it doesn't matter much.
I wonder if they'll manage to change it by the start of next term.
