Add to the professional network by turning up at a conference and giving a presentation on really easy stuff that you make out as complex. There's a 45 minute presentation on something at the UK Oracle User Group next month, which I reckon I could implement from scratch in less than that time, but people will turn up and ooh and aah.Comment

I loved doing 4 days a week. When DD1 was born, I worked 5 days in 4 so that I still got the day at home.
Sadly, I was permie at the time, and the client was paying the company £2000 a day for my time. I was on under £40k a year.Comment

I'm doing 4 days at current client and I the rate I get for the 4 days is the same as my last gig.
Although MY day off tomorrow will involve going food shopping and going into town.Comment
