Mrs Eek however finds it rather annoying that she has to go to work while I don't.

In other news, the owner(?) of the wrecked house is preparing to paint(?) the wrecked bay window.

Said bay window has a temporary roof that he put on 2.5 years ago, just before the snow, and has one pane of glass replaced with chipboard.
