Im not a fast siwmmer, but I looked at the swimsmooth site and I do the beginner stuff apart from over rotating on breathing when tired.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostSwimming Technique: Animations & Articles From Experts Swim Smooth
Download the app. Most important is to try to "spear" the water - I was aquaplaning and it behaves as a brake. High elbow catch too. And toes together. If you get that lot then going faster might help - you create a "bow wave" which you can breath into so less body roll needed.
Its complex stuff!
I don't have a problem with my arms its just that I struggle to kick but apparently most men doComment

Thank goodness there are no women on this thread! <inserts box>
If you are not going so fast you will over-rotate : no bow wave.Comment

Evening Brillo!Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostEvening all
Have decided to conquer my last remaining fear and tackle this acraphobia and climb this god damn mountain with the sheer 2,000 feet drop on the side. It's been bugging me, I need to conquer a major fear. I don't know why, but I feel I must.
I would admit I'm scared...If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
