I am still, after 15 years in IT, amazed at the utter incompetence and blatant dishonesty that is not only tolerated but sometimes actively encouraged in this business.

I now have 27 years in IT - 25 of them in the city. The first few years (eighties) there was alot more dishonesty, drinking and violence around than there is now.
