Hosting company have tried to help out by putting a few random files back, finding it doesn't work any more, and then updating the ticket to say "it's a problem with the script - can you check from your end?"

I just need to check with the new host that I can easily set up an email forward to forward everything that comes in to my gmail account.

I hope so, or I'm a bit screwed and will have to stick with the current useless lot.

So saturday I will start taking the wall paper off and I might have a look at adding a couple of extra sockets.

Ive just noticed that the double sockets on my side of the bed will get in the way of the wardrobe.
So I will have to relocate these.
