            Goodness me, some of these leds are bright.

            I've got one on the bench at the moment that I'm soak testing.

            It's a very tasteful amber colour.

            It's mounted on a custom circuit board to keep it cool.

            It's taking 350mA at the moment.

            The dropper resistor is getting hotter than the LED is.

            And it's dazzling.

            I had spots in front of my eyes for 5 minutes after looking at it.

            Only another 24 of these to mount on pcbs for my super daft punk table (miniature yellow version).

                      In fact I'd soldered 9 LEDs onto pcbs.

                      It was a little sad that 8 of them were 90 degrees out of alignment.

                      Ho hum.

                      A judicious bit of track cutting & all was well.
