Getting quotes for house redecoration inside and out, lets hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Need to get quotes on sprucing up the kitchen, only replacing the doors and plinths, work top needs resurfacing (as I stupidly put a hot baking try down and burnt it ).

Seems a bit pricey, but i supposes it depends on how many rooms inside are being done

All of them, lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility, cloakroom, hall and landing, all 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that includes walls, ceilings, gloss work (some additional) and then outside paintwork and garden gate, garage door.

will see what the other quote comes in at, that also includes the paint as well.

£150 per day per person, unless in London where it could be as high as £200 per person per day. If they say £2500 for two days work then you're being ripped off.

Hmmm, I don't remember prices being that cheap even in London and that was 10 years ago.

Probably going to get the guy who decorated the house originally for us when we bought it.

once you have found a good tradesmen its best to keep them.

The ones we use tend to turn up at 8am and don't finish until 5ish
