Here you go, Zeity. You could get involved in this:

    Turning copper into gold

THE development of a historic industrial area into a world heritage tourism destination could be a step closer. The Hafod Copperworks site close to Swansea’s River Tawe-side Liberty Stadium contains 12 Grade II listed buildings and structures.
Swansea University chosen as Hafod copper site partner

Swansea's Hafod Copperworks site is made up of more than 12 acres of land close to the River Tawe, the Liberty Stadium and the Parc Morfa retail park

Swansea University has been named the city council's preferred development partner for the historic Hafod Copperworks site.
    copper ---> electronics.

These heritage affairs always have heavily-subsided workshops / retail outlets on site. Waddya fancy making / doing / selling? How about those easy-to-make kits you get in Maplins and solar-powered stuff and eco-friendly electronics like they sell at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth.

You could get shed-loads of funding for a small business like that.

Get it established, then employ someone to run the shop. Job's a good 'un.

Gordon Bennett, they're going to build houses on that land?

They seem to have forgotten the legacy of two centuries of copper smelting.

I love the "Swansea was a major player in the global copper industry"

        Just a tad.

Like 75% - 80% of it at its peak.

Fecking irrelevant tedious boring stultifying training course this afternoon all about moodle.

I think I'll hang myself now to avoid the misery.

                Moodle?

Moodle is an open source course management system (CMS) that is taking the educational world by storm. It provides all the sophisticated high level functionality of an educational CMS and more - and there are no license fees. More and more colleges and universities, and even businesses, are turning to Moodle to host and deliver courses online.
Oh, wow! A quick Google search tells me EVERYONE is using it!

How exciting. I might have a look at that this weekend.

We might go looking at a new light fitting for the bedroom, and maybe a new sofa.
