Afternoon denizens

I've finally worked out why both my MacBook and my PowerMac have been producing coasters every time I try to burn a CD recently - I noticed that these crappy CD-RWs are only rated for burning at up to 12X speed, and of course the default setting for iTunes is "as fast as possible" - probably 48X or something

Just burned one at 12X, and it seems to have worked

So I now need to gather up all the coasters, erase them and try again
