is the idea to identify those who have drivelled most or drivelled least?
For "drivelled least" we can take the list of members and then remove any who have ever posted to TPD. That warrants a try.

Drivelled most is simply the list of TPD posters by descending number of posts.

What makes it interesting is someone who has posted quite a bit elsewhere, but an awful lot here. That makes them A Good Person in the eyes of the Generalists, yet A Bad Person in the eyes of the Generalists at the same time.

Hence, the requirements for some formula that gives weight to non-drivel AND drivel:non-drivel ratio.

I achieved that before by doing TPD / CUK % for the top 300 CUKers.
Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

could you do TPD / (TPD+CUK) ? Not perfect as it excludes some LR posts.....

No. We need NickFitz's solution for that.

We can only get the number of posts by a member to a thread, not to a forum.

So, it is hard to get an accurate figure for you, for example, because you posted to TPD, The Counting Thread and the Jokes Thread.

I just had a look at the Forum rules.
              Forum Rules

We welcome constructive, informative, tasteful and civil posts.

The forum is intended to be as pleasant a place as possible for all – for newbies and veterans alike. No flaming or disrespect for others please.

We ask that you kindly abide by the following rules:
              1. No profanity or obscenities of any kind, even written back to front or disguised with asterisks etc.
              2. Be nice to each other - no personal attacks on other users.
              3. Defamatory, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening and harassing comments are not tolerated.

Do you think somebody should tell them over in General?

But I guess we have to stick with what we know? tpd post count and post count from member list? Is anything else available?
Not much. We know the stats for the forum totals (as posted earlier) but not by individual. Other stuff requires either access to the underlying database or a script to trawl through its contents.

                Once again, cue NickFitz.

Or someone to get access to the underlying database on the QT. Which is, of course, illegal.

Hello. I'm in Real Time™! How exciting is that?

We noticed your absence from the night shift. Have you just got up? Or just got in?

                      You read a book?

Sorry, you can't have the job.

                      You're over-qualified.
