No, I didn't mean tenth either, because a tenth of 4444 = 444.4, and the figure I mean is 444. Not sure what the mathematical term is for that, whereby a number of the same digits and number is divided by a number of the same digits and number less one digit...dunno..weird

That is the beauty of mathematics.

By the way, you can demonstrate it with a finite number of examples, but can you prove it?
