I was once given 200 lines by my French teacher but, knowing that he was reasonably tolerant of japes, I went to the computer room wherein lived the DEC PDP8/e, sat at one of the Teletypes and wrote a short BASIC program (three lines) to print out my 200 lines for me.
This being the mid-70s, the teacher initially thought I had sat at the computer and typed them all out. Once I explained to him that, no, I'd got the computer to do all the work, he was so utterly gobsmacked (and seriously impressed) that I knew how to write a computer program that he let me off
