I did all of today's scrambled maps challenges. Didn't rank very highly. 5/6 on the first two and 10/12 on the third. Good to see that they count towards your overall map progress.

Medicinal lunch: Heinz chicken soup, with white toast

I took some paracetamol before starting work, and it seems to have helped a little. By great good fortune our main task for this morning was a rather dull housekeeping thing involving a lot of copying, pasting, and cross-checking stuff. This turned out to be about the mental level I was capable of without too much effort. I would have found it extremely tedious if I'd been OK, but under the circumstances, it was quite satisfying

This afternoon, I remembered to put the mundane laundry on, so that's now done and dried

It's clouded over a fair bit again outside, though with some patches of blue hither and yon

I managed to read some more of Caledonian Road. Just worked out that I'm about a seventh of the way through, so I'll need to speed up a bit if I'm to finish it any time soon

The lurgy, whatever it may be, has me feeling extremely run down. But I don't think it's got any worse today, and the paracetamol seems to be keeping the worst at bay

The lurgy doesn't seem to be any worse, though I don't think it's any better either. Feeling very physically tired already, which isn't a good sign considering all I've done is get up, shower, and make coffee

The butter I bought at the farmers' market tastes different to the one I normally buy from the supermarket. I expected this but it's also requiring recalibration. The toasted hot cross bun is no worse off.
