Tea has been chicken in red wine sauce with chips and peas

Accompanied by yet another new episode of Traffic Cops

The Mac Mini is descending into Cologne. If it gets switched to a plane for EMA tonight, they could get it to me tomorrow! But I suppose customs and stuff will prevent that

If it does come tonight (but not too late), I'll be able to wave to it as it goes by - inbound EMA traffic from that direction is down to a few thousand feet when it gets here and flies past my living room window

Ah, UPS don't fly from Cologne to the UK - apparently it's brought here by road or rail via some place called Stanford-le-Hope on the banks of the Thames near Canvey Island. No chance of it getting here tomorrow, then

Tonight's reading has been the first few chapters of The Peepshow: The Murders at 10 Rillington Place, published last month. It has a particular emphasis on the way the case was covered by the tabloid journalists of the day, particularly Harry Procter of the Sunday Pictorial, sister paper to the Mirror, which paid for Christie's defence in return for access to his side of the story

The Covid jab is starting to kick in: arm's beginning to get sore, and I'm feeling rather meh. Best to get an early night, I think, in the hope of still being able to do something useful with Friday

On the bright side, I came across a study which found that adverse reactions to the jab were directly correlated with higher levels of antibodies three months later - as much as 30%

        Goodnight all

          Morning.

          Friday.

Today's dream before waking was SF rather than working somewhere nightmare: parallel world or somesuch with shapeshifters and a dog thing that turned out to be a big shapeshifter. Then I woke to find the Orange Nightmare was real.

Curious difficulty finding the bedroom door at 02:00 on the way to the bog. Had to turn the light on. Very odd.

In other other news, my injection site is aching a bit. Probly in sympathy with NF. .

          Grey.

          Gloomy.

          Sunless.

          Dry.

Chilly in here at 16.3 deg, 16.5 in the kitchen, 14 in the leanto, 13 in the saltinghouse.

1020.5 mBar, 30.135 in Hg, 765.44 Torr, 14.8 psi, (down from 1022 last night), 66% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 29th of November 2019 it was cold, frosty & sunny for NF, WTFH, and others, whereas I was doing the washing. Bit like today really.

Shirts out of the WM and pegged out on the line.

          Smalls in the WM.

          Cottons in the WM.

            Morning denizens

Yet another grey start. A touch sillier today though, being 7°C now and not getting any higher than 10°. The barometers are down a bit at 1015/1023mB

Last night's sleep wasn't too bad. The Covid jab is making its presence felt, but the arm isn't too sore and the lurgyish symptoms are relatively mild. I did think on to take a couple of paracetamol immediately before going to sleep, which has maybe helped. Anyway, I feel a bit tired and run down, but not as bad as it's been some years
