A small fortune has been spent sourcing components for my new PC. Having to keep my existing graphics card as I'll just have to wait for prices and supply to sort themselves out first.

Lots of packages due to arrive on Wednesday. Build day ought to be Saturday but I know I'll start tinkering sooner.

New Graphics cards (the 3080ti / 3070ti and new unsuitable for crypto mining cards) are due to be announced in a fortnight.

Not bad - you should have said however as if you buy a bundle from scan you get access to their build graphics cards which last time I looked were 3080s for £800.

You will also need a decent CPU cooler as the 5900X doesn't come with one at all.

I looked at their bundles but what I wanted wasn't in stock. I got the stuff from eBuyer as individual components for a comparable price and the cooler from Quiet PC.

I didn't notice anything on Scan's site advertising the graphics cards if a bundle was bought. Ah well, never mind!

Scan are keeping it a vague secret - simply because every time they mention it 100+ people place orders.
