Equally how do i open the last page of a thread from the index page?

Edit oh it's the little blue arrow by the name of the last poster - but it doesn't work.

In Control Panel - Account, scroll down to Conversation Detail Options and set the radio button under Display Mode to Latest Activity. Then, when you click on the wee blue arrow you at least see the latest but that's not necessarily the last page. You would have to select the highest page number at the top of the thread to see that.

Also, this Latest Activity view doesn't give post numbers which is not useful for Pali monitoring in TPD.

It be by design... It's now two clicks to get to the last page, not one...
