Morning denizens
Not convinced about this getting-up-early malarkey
Grey day out though the rain has stopped, 6°C and supposed to rise to 8° before the rain returns around teatime; barometric pressures 997/1005mBComment

Morning.
Grey sky with blue bits.
Sunny.
Warmish side of not so coldish at 16.5 deg in here.
1005 mBar, inHg, 55% RH.
Friday.
Smalls in the WM.
Smalls out of the WM and into the TD.
Shirts in the WM.
And, with that, the rain descends from a large black cloud.
<hiatus>
Smalls out of the TD & airing in the front bedroom.
Shirts out of the WM & into the TD.
Cottons in the WM on shirts setting bumped to 60 deg.
Time for a walk.
<hiatus>
Didn't get rained on.
Shirts out of the TD and roughly "ironed", now airing on the picture rail in the bedroom.
Cottons out of the WM and into the TD.
Lunch scrambled egg and poached tomato on Morrisons wholemeal sunflower and spelt toast, bramble jelly on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed bread, red corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
<hiatus>
Cottons out of the TD once I'd remembered they were in there.
Freecell score: started badly & continued that way.
Tea: Tesco chunky breaded haddock, yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettei tea.
Entertainment: Susan Calman's tour of Pembroke.
I suppose I might find sommat else, but who can tell.
Thing on Blaze about explosive decompression in airliners.
It was rather inneresting other than the voiceover referring to the pressurised "oxygen" inside the plane, rather than the pressurised air.
S.W.A.T. on Pick+1. It had better buck its ideas up a bit or it's toast.
It's toast. I can't be arsed to turn the volume back up.
Now some more lunatic septics digging holes, this one has found a tunnel.
Treasure Chest: Snake Island.
Apparently it's a "Jesuit Cavern".
They've found an ancient wheelbarrow.
That's more than the Oak Island nutjobs just there.
Oh good, now we're warming up a lead acid battery over an open fire.
Dear Deity.
And lo! amazingly enough it worked and the JCB fired up.
Oh good. They've found a piece of cloth of gold and a skeleton, the skull of which is caved in.

Oh this is better than Oak Island, there's scorpions.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 5 February 2021, 22:47.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Home again, minus some blood
The nurse apologised for running late, explaining that every patient so far this morning had had high blood pressure (and, by implication, had to be given The Talk). Mine was fine
I put my coffee to brew immediately before leaving, so I'm now enjoying that
I need to collect the monthly prescription from the pharmacy at some point. Just trying to remember what time Greggs stop doing breakfast, as a walk taking in the pharmacy could easily be diverted past there in its final legComment

Quick dash out to the post box. Wispy clouds are now more of a fluffy sort. Overall chilly but it's lovely and warm when the sun comes out. Low wind which helps.Comment
