It's dry, a bit of cloud but otherwise sunny. Currently 10 degrees with a forecast high of 13. I haven't wandered down to the office to check the barometer. That service will resume tomorrow.

Ocado are due to bring me comestibles between 12 and 1pm. My two week confinement shouldn't be too bad. I have crunchy nut cornflakes and milk

Ocado delivered very early - at 11:20. The driver called to check it was ok first, which resulted in me getting dressed very quickly.

Sunday morning shop done, brought home, washed, put away.

Lunch: roast chicken breast with added rasher of bacon in a vain attempt to give it some little flavour , stewed pears sans custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

i didn't surface 'till late today as i stayed up to 02:00 watching 'in the heat of the night'.
better than i remember, but maybe i didn't get the subtleties at the tender age of somethingteen.

Ride ridden

Had to break off early to escort an insured rider home. Fell onto a wooden post.

On my way home got accosted by either a Serbian or Russian man, who took a swing at me. Why? Because I was riding down a very muddy lane (on an MOD training ground), and his two kids stood by a puddle to watch me go through it. Strange, but they got splashed, which is what he seemed upset about...?
