Originally posted by eek View PostThe issue is one of availability - the problem with the cooker has been obvious for weeks but there was no stock of anything Mrs Eek wants anywhere - so we were hoping the cooker would last until whatever is screwing up production is fixed.
I've found one and it's ordered (see my complaint about a bug in Currys website above) just need to use other means to cook until the 15th when it will arrive and be installed.
Now just working out if we should replace the cooker hood (which has always been tulip) at the same time."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

don't get old without setting your affairs so that your carers can manage them, people.

edit:
11000 posts!
Twice.
Ho hum.
I think I've still got chequebooks for Mater and Pater despite both accounts being closed.
The biggest pain in the arse was the Halifax.
Multiple visits and endless tulipe with incompetents.
In the end had to turn up with Strangelove Sis since no one fecks with her and survives intact.
Now wtf is TTSS when it's at home?
Discovered that I've got quite weak.
Definitely not in the Barrett league any more.
I'll have to downsize to the .338 Lapua.
Even that'll be a struggle.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 5 September 2020, 11:30.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Presumably being the one where Peter Guillam is gay for no readily apparent reason.
It was ok but not a patch on the tv series.
Nice to see Gary Oldman as something other than a scenery chewing villain.

Lunch: Heinz ham and lentil soup, Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed bread (not, as I'd thought wholemeal sunflower and spelt which was out of stock last Sunday, just to keep things clear, like), bramble jelly sandwich on crust of same, red pippy corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 5 September 2020, 14:24.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Bit more gardening done since I was getting bored.
Always best to do little & often rather than letting it accumulate until you need a fecking chainsaw to mow the lawn. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor.
