Hmmm. Went to little sit out, usually with Loony Lady 1, Loony Lady no 2 and 3 other loony ladies, nobody turned up. Expect they all died.

Only knives found in local police search yesterday appeared to be left behind from picnics, nothing suitable for stabbing. Few needles, nitrous oxide canisters and other drug stuff though.

Lunch was random freezer surprise, which turned out to be a shakshuka type effort with a juicy fat merguez sausage in it. I didn't bother adding the egg one normally associates with such a dish.

Shakshuka is my fave brekky ever. Must be super spicy.

Been trying to work, but it's too hot to deal with anything complex. Managing to get through a number of small, non-complex bits that had been put off though, so that helps

It's apparently 29 or 30°C outside now depending on whether you believe the phone or the watch, which is weird as the watch gets its data from the phone, or at least I always believed it did

But as the sun is completely around the other side of the building now, this side has managed to stick at 28° and will cool down for the rest of the evening. Well, I think it will, though there's no guarantees

The bedding has dried very quickly on the clothes horse in the kitchen; should be ready to be put away later, unless I manage to find the energy to change the bed in which case it can get straight to work.

We've still got a slight chance of rain in the small hours and storms tomorrow hereabouts, but it'll also go up to 32°C

I think any work I want to do will have to be dealt with first thing, before the place gets too hot to think.
