The soup Scotch broth has been harvested: five generous bowlsworth, not counting the one I had for lunch

They’ll have to stay in the fridge for a couple of days while I work out how to get them into the freezer…

EDIT: ah, lamb shanks! They’re taking up far too much space, being in a roomy plastic box, so they can start defrosting for tea tomorrow

We have had the windows open all afternoon despite it being drizzly out. I felt the flat needed a good airing.

That reminded me the bedroom window was still open. Just went and closed it. It’s 12°C in there now
