Having recently watched "The Last Man on Earth", "The Omega Man", and less recently "I am Leg End", the evening's gotterdamerung style entertainment begins with "Terminator" and is pencilled in to continue with "Terminator II: Judgement Day".

I'm practically word perfect with the original.

I have a choice of versions for T2, the theatrical dvd and the Director's Cut dvd version.

I have read the book, which I thought was rather good, but not seen the film. Is it worth a watch?

Better enough, it seems, to stay up much too late watching stuff

First stuff being I Am Legend (2007), original ending edition. Very good, but I think the alternative ending is better.

And then onwards with Forbrydelsen S2E7 and S2E8

And it’s tipping down out there now

More fancy cooking tonight: boeuf bourguignon, with potato wedges and petits pois. Very tasty, and a couple of bonus portions to go in the freezer

And although I’m not 100%, I’m feeling better than I have done by this time in the evening any night this week

Leg End has the best production values since it's a Will Smith vehicle, but all three sup from the same book.

My sister’s just been on the phone. She took my Dad to the local hospital for some test this morning. The doctor said it was lucky he’d got the appointment today as, from Monday, they’re cancelling all routine stuff and converting every clinic into a makeshift ITU

I think it’s very good, but I’d recommend the “Alternate Ending” version (they mean “Alternative” - “Alternate” would mean it switched between them) if you can get it. But as the name implies, that only affects the ending, and I was happy enough with the original ending before I discovered the other one
