MrsMac has just done a “big shop”

    Cat food
    Cat litter
    White Wine
    Gin
    Mixers

I think it’s safe to say she’s going to cope when I start working away

        It's a documentary!

Lunch: Morrisons cheese topped stick, baked beans, beetroot sandwich, bramble jelly sandwich, 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Bacon butty for lunch, on sesame bloomer

That smoked shortback off the market is really nice. It’s cut fairly thick, so it’s nice and meaty

Made a Victoria sponge cos I wanted a bit of cake with my afternoon coffee and baking was far easier than going outdoors

I thought of baking a cake earlier, but then I remembered there’s still half a coffee & walnut cake occupying the cake tin. Need to make apple pies, too.

                    Currently watching "1941".

                    It's not funny.

It's even less funny with Dan Aykroyd and John fecking Belushi.

                    I thought I had S1 of "Americans".

                    I haven't.

Or if I have, I can't find it.

                    <hiatus>

Well 1941 is living down to expectations.

                    Feck me.

MrsBP made cookies. Her first baking in a year. Her not drinking is making her a different person.

We went for a walk to the pier and back this morning with the boy children. There is some sort of race along the seafront today which was a nuisance but we made it.
