Scotch broth for late lunch; very tasty. I think that’s the last of it, giving me further incentive to go into town to stock up on the necessary vegetables at the market, along with a shoulder of lamb

The shoulder of lamb cooked eventually, I hacked some bits off for lunch then put it back in to cook some more.

Had a little more this evening since it was there, on the kitchen worktop, looking at me.

Not a cut I like very much but needs must etc.

Lunch was ok in its way.

Tea: bits of roast shoulder of lamb, jam sarnie, tomato sarnie, beetroot sarne, 3 different yoghurts, 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
