Those damned drums, what?
Morning all
Grey.
White sky.
Damp.
Dreary.
Very quiet.
It's too quiet out there, Sergeant. <thunk>
The thing that tulips outside the back door shat outside the back door, and, naturally enough, I didn't spot it until too late.
Ho hum.
Worse things happen at sea, Mr Christian.
Splice the mainbrace.
Avast the topgallants.
<hiatus>
And 20 minutes later it's pissing down.
If this continues there'll be no stagger up to the viewless point today.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 6 November 2019, 09:00.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Morning denizens
Grey out, and quite a chilly start at 3°C, and 16.8° in here
No frost on the roofs out the back though.Comment

In with the hoi polloi.
The flatulent one shared his flatus as he sat down.
Happily enough, at the other end of the room.
Have I shared the tragic news that the little thermometer thing I bought from Maplin in 1982 has finally died?
It lasted a lot longer than the tulipty "NEver Ready" rough service light bulbs ever did, with their mean time to failure of 10 seconds.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Today is Friday!
Well, it is for me. The rest of you suckers have the rest of the week to deal with.
WFH until 4pm when I will trundle off to the airport for a weekend away with HWMBO. It's made all the more fun because we'll be arriving at different times, making it seem all rather seedy.
No idea what the weather outside is like. I do have windows with open curtains but I haven't actually bothered having a look. I have to wander around the corner and move my car at some point and I'll do my weather report after that.Comment

Oh good.
The net nanny won't let me look at the wayback machine.
Or anything about the tor browser.
Though I can read stuff about the S&W 460 revolver should I wish.
Enough of this frivolity & fun, time to go.
Mostly coz I need a piss.
<hiatus>
Memo to self: have a piss in the busstation lavatory, it saves an increasingly rapid stagger home in the deluge.
And here it is:
The Question...
Pity the pictures aren't, they add so much to this POS.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 6 November 2019, 11:02.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
