Got the fan set up in the hall pointing into the living room door, in the vague hope it'll move some of the very slightly cooler air from the kitchen to here. Doesn't seem to be making much difference so far

Had a very enjoyable afternoon in Zurich airport.
We landed at the B gates. Followed the signs for E gates and ended up landing ourselves via passport control and having to pass back through security etc before finding the train the E gates. Rookie mistake made somewhere, I suspect.
Anyway. Having found the SWISS first lounge, we enjoyed some bubbly, a bit of a chill, and a light meal. We then got an escort over to the Senator lounge (saves going up and down the separate lifts) for a perch at the whisky bar. I'm on the G&T.
We were going to head back to first but are comfy and will just hang out here until it's time to board.
The coffee is very good.

Tonight's tea has been chicken dopiaza out of the freezer, with the usual rice and naan, and was very nice
My dining-related viewing this week has been an iPlayer thing called Canny Cops, about policing various deprived communities in the north east (Durham Constabulary). Rather than just following the police around, they've also gone out and got to know various of the regular criminals, all drug-involved of course, and some of them are right characters. Crap place to live though, despite the sceneryComment

Along with shutting down British industry, it was one of her grand ideas.
Let's feed the cattle on ground up sheep, goats, chickens and other cattle, then mechanically recover every last piece of tulipe from the carcass and make it into beef burgers & sausages.
I'd completely forgotten about the mad cats.
Fecking Tory bastards.
Price of everything & value of nothing.
It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for the MV and VV variants to die.
Though if kuru takes 50 years, that should be obvious by about 2045.
This evening's "entertainment" began with the above mentioned and has now moved on to The Canadian Black Watch snipers in WWII on PBS.
The kunt Seldom Glummer still doesn't think they did anything wrong.
Should be hung up by the katangas, the bastard.
Ah, the AA advert has just reminded me I have to rattle their cage tomorrow.
Getting much too expensive.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 11 July 2019, 21:46.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
