Now in with the hoi polloi with, strangely, Handel's Water Music playing softly in the other room.
Must explain why I'm currently busting for a pee. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Stuff I've had to look up whilst reading the book about The Black Death:
Rodomontade, now there's a nicely obscure term.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc: always throw in a bit of Latin, it confuses the proles.
Laic: another good one but you can guess what it means.
Mutatis mutandis: something very popular with the IEE.
Famuli: another good one.
I feel much more educated now. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

The Moving Things And Cleaning Underneath has reached what used to be The Office.
So far stuff underneath one desk has been moved and the vac has vacced.
In fact two vacs have vacced since it's easier to use the big round orange vac with extender tubes than it is to use the upright when crawling under desks.
I have discovered stuff that I'd forgotten buying.
And a dead UPS that's in bits "to see if it can be fixed or if the bits will come in handy like.
The other dead UPS is upstairs.
Oh, and it's gone grey outside with no sign of sun.
<cleaning frenzy hiastus or interstitial pause>
CBS is back along with the unbearable sunlight.
After the success of the under corner desk frenzy, the moving of the filing cabinets was next.
Feck me those things are heavy.
I wonder if I should burn all those ancient receipts etc.
Tea/dinner this evening is more of yesterday's roast beef.
I remembered the broad beans that have festered in the fridge for a week.
<brief hiatus>
Well that was er, okish.
Nothing very exciting.
Just meh.
Ho hum.
I think I've caught heel spurs off POTUS because my left heel is very painful.
Sounds like an excellent reason not to go to Vietnam.
Shifting these ancient tvs down the garden is going to be a challenge since my left elbow is playing up so carrying the fecking things is a tad painful.
I think the 26" one in the office has earned a reprieve since there's no way I can shift it at present.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 8 July 2019, 17:55.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
