Stone me it's warm in here today.
In the process of throwing stuff out of the office.
Well, an old Matsui crt tv that doesn't work properly any more that I can't be arsed to fix.
There's a Panasonic 26" crt tv in there too, on top of a pair of Spendor BC2 loudspeakers but it's too heavy to shift.
The tv cost £10 in 2016, the remote cost £15.
The speakers cost £220 in 1975. Pity the cone suspension on the bass drivers sagged.
Turns out one should invert them every now and again. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

CBS out there now, with the sunlight just moving round to where I'm sitting on the sofa. Very pleasant indeed.Comment

The Super Monkey Car is home!
One of its headlights needed replacing, as it was full of condensation (as in, about 1/4 full and it sloshed around), while the other had some condensation but not enough to fail the MOT. But the chap ended up finding what he reckoned must be the last pair of brand new Orion headlights in the country for sale at a good price, so he replaced them bothComment

Dare one ask how much this labour of love has cost?

Stone me, it's like an oven in the Salting House, 32 deg C before I opened both doors.
It's about 30 in there now.
While the doors were open I decided it could do with a bit of a clean so I've upset all the spiders by so doing.
It's still grubby but a bit less so than it was.
Tea/dinner this evening is chili and rice, as extracted from the freezer from the stuff I made a fortnight ago.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 27 June 2019, 16:35.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

I must have asked before, but how much damage was caused by the scrotes?
Currently watching The John Peel & Mr Trebus tribute programme on 5.
There are some remarkably filthy people about.
The waste disposal chute blocks on a flat so you fill every room with rubbish, dog tulipe, cat tulipe, etc.
Remarkable, 3 people were living in that. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
