Stop Press: - three farts
I don't hold my drink well.
The undead dead man just won.
And the pink car got dented.
And the undead dead man just got busted.
And Dexter's dead undead dad just appeared again, some years after "the warriors".Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 February 2019, 20:41.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

They're rolling about in the sand having a fight now.
Oh, the undead dead guy is going undercover with some chap who's been in clink for 3 years.
Some chichita just turned up.
Oddly the engine noise doesn't seem to coincide with the perceived velocity.
Lots of really muscle cars.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 February 2019, 20:50.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Well that worked fairly well, though I have no fecking idea quite where that fits in the ongoing saga.
Dexter's dead undead dad survived to die another day.
And once I've washed up the dishes & such like it's TFBSZ.
Slightly less pissed now, being outside an Eccles Cake and 2 Tesco "citrus fruits" of indeterminate variety, though they don't peel very well and don't separate into segments. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Feck me it's a miracle I could type it much less say it.
Hic.
Just to keep things straight, like, tea/dinner this eveing started off with a pint of Brains something or other on an empty stomach, followed by a a fair amount of red wine, followed by cod in batter with chips, and vegetable (carrot & corriander from the looks of it) soup.
It was all very nice.
Then I staggered to the railway station to see the relatives off safely, followed by staggering home to sit down & watch "2 Fast 2 Furious" while drinking bottles of sparkly water & eating Eccles Cakes.
Yum.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 February 2019, 22:34.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Tonight's film was a made-for-TV (BBC, to be precise) job: Page Eight (2011), starring Bill Nighy as an MI5 chap, Rachel Weisz as his neighbour, Michael Gambon as his boss, and various others including the Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact and Spud from Trainspotting. The usual secret service tropes of weary cynicism, failed relationships, and lack of trust prevail, but it's very well done and I rather enjoyed it.
