    Morning.

    Undry.

    Drizzly.

    Dire.

    Dank.

    Depressing.

Warmish side of colder. 14.3 in the living room, 9.1 in the laundry room with a min of 8.9.

    Dreary.

It's getting a bit lighter in the evenings now, but it seems an age since it was light in the mornings.

One can take it as read that there'll be no rosy fingers of dawn this morning.

However one can perceive the other side of the dock, which one couldn't do a week yesterday in the Unmitigated Blackness of The New Year Return to The New Slough of Desponde.

It's better to live in hope.

    Sun just came out.

    Gone in again.

    Mist seems to have departed.

    Sun's out.

Two of this month's medicines are in different packaging.

I'm OK with the NHS shopping around for the best deal, but I wish they'd impose some requirement on manufacturers along the lines of "The packaging must clearly indicate at which end the leaflet will be in the way when you open it"

As a Doctor, I can confirm that the crisps are one portion of your 5 a day.

              Want some Cobalt Thorium G?

              It's on offer.

              Buy now whilst stocks last.

Yes they are like USB sticks in that respect.

Speaking of which, I've just finished off the last of the Quality Street

The orange ones are in the 5 a day too.

This evening's transport home was the X5 which I only just managed to catch.

                    The evening's tea/dinner was M&S battered haddock.

It was very nice, mostly coz I managed not to cook it to death.

This evening's viewing epic is yet to be decided.

Happily enough, the flatulence seems to have abated just a tad.

This evening's epic turned out to be one of the two copies I possess of "The Eagle Has Landed(1977)" with Michael Caine et al.

The Eagle Has Landed (1976) - IMDb

                    Mmmmmmmmm.

                    Sun tanned Jenny Agutter.

Plus Judy Geeson, disappointingly with her clothes on in this one.

                    MMMMMMMmmm.

                    It was rather good.

I don't recall ever having watched it before.

Stone me, not as complicated as TF&TF6 but what?

The Eagle Has Landed (1976) - Alternate Versions - IMDb

The one I watched last night (both dvds) were 2 hrs 11 minutes long with some of those missing scenes unmissing.

                    And it was 4:3.

                    Carlton release.

                    Glad we've cleared that up.
