And as I fancied some enlivenment after that rather cerebral two-and-a-half-hours, it was time to rewatch Looper (2012), which is definitely one of the best time travel action films of recent years, even though it doesn't get quite as convoluted in its timelines as the excellent Predestination
And no matter how hard I look, "Ebenezer" isn't there and doesn't miraculously reappear. Ho hum.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 November 2018, 12:20.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

And there we are, done for the day.
Trip down to Morrisons for bread rolls for the week, followed by Yet More Gardening, which, in this instance, involved a fork in addition to the rake.
Stone me, the roots of some of this tulipe seem to go down for yards.
Then again, the stems of some of the brambles were about 3/4" in diameter, and the honeysuckle was about half an inch.
A right bitch getting that stuff out.
Couldn't be arsed to do a bonfire today.
However, after much charging, the Seicento finally sprang into very noisy life, seeing as the exhaust is blowing.
And my next door but 1 neighbour was enjoying himself felling an ash tree on the canal bank.
At 12 years old it was about 25 feet high.
The damn things are like weeds around here and seem to be taking over from the alders which are afflicted with some odd disease or other. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Gosh.
My daily bowel movement waited until 3 minutes after Doctor Who had started.
Did I miss anything?
We appear to have someone taking the michael out of Big Ears playing James 1st & 6th.
The last time the evil one appeared in Doctor Who Sylvester McCoy was playing him.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 November 2018, 18:51.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Following on from the tedium of Doctor Who, this evening's entertainment continued with "Hunted" with Tommy Lee Jones Benicio Del Toro.
The Hunted (2003) - IMDb
It was rather good in a "First Blood" sort of way, though no one said "Don't push me".

Feck me, the nutjobs are getting desperate.
Now we've got a face carved into a glacial erratic.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 25 November 2018, 21:32.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
