Right now I don't know whether to love or hate Nick.
I have spent hours trying to work out why some code isn't working.
I have been stepping through reams of javascript, wondering what the hell is going on (all sorts of callbacks, promises and the like happening and it was one dodgy ****ing self-closing div tag.
It took a glass of wine, then Nick's post of years ago floated to the forefront of my mind. No, it can't be that. Yes it was.
On the plus side, it's working now.
Want a job Nick? (semi-serious - client looking for someone who can do this stuff with their eyes shut)

Could well be intermittent - the odd couple of days here and there and WFH (the plan changes hourly) - might suit you when you're between contracts - I'll drop you a line if it looks like a goer.
