On a positive health note, my Mrs. who has been struggling with debilitating Tibial Band syndrome since last December, came out for a day in Central London on Saturday.

That might not sound much, but that sort of crowd struggle, for a whole day, is only something she would be able to cope with just recently.

We celebrated with a nice lunch in Soho, complete with a very nice bottle of blanc de blanc Champagne
    The Chunt of Chunts.

Seems like language lawyering to me, but it basically comes down to they don’t know, and won’t until the angiogram
Just make sure they know you need to be fixed by Friday.

Is the breathing better? Have they furosemided you into a lizard?

Edit - don't forget if you're signed off for 3 weeks, you can claim under IPSE+

I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

My lads avoid crowds and queues always. Missed a trip to see Santa on Saturday because of it.

They had to put up with a trip on a steam engine instead. Which the youngest hated due to the whistle.

At one point we hit empty road and got up to about 30mph! Fantastic.

Also I enjoyed waving to the kids in the crowds. Mostly it is parent waving at each other! This time a few kids started waving. One toddler blew me a kiss!

At least you are in hospital!

Mother-out-law had heart attack 15 years ago. Quick thinking doctor saved her.

2 years ago Welsh Ambulance service decided not to help her as she is English. Died on way to hospital. He daughters were not even allowed in the back of the ambulance when she died ("she will be fine"). F88kers.

Don't let the doctors give you any sh1t.....

Breathing’s fine without anything for it - looks like no additional treatment was needed

It seems that nowadays, even an MI resulting in a stent only gets you a week’s ban from driving and work - it was a month last time. So no claim, but hopefully only a week’s invoicing lost, though that depends on them actually sorting things out today

Have they got you on a 12-lead?

If not, and they suspect you had an MI, they will probably stick you on one for 24 hours. If The Wife (tm) was here now, she'd start on about Q-T intervals and stuff, then she'd ask me if I knew where our defib is (above the coat rack in the utility room) and finally run me through DR ABCDE.
And just so I remember (cause the DR are the newer additions):
                  D: Assess for Danger
                  R: Evaluate patient Response

                  A: Airways
                  B: Breathing
                  C: Circulation
                  D: Disability
                  E: Exposure
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Links are up and, literally as I hit "submit" on them, somebody appeared with a wheelchair and transferred me from admissions to a proper ward

Now I just need them to transfer me home, and I'm sorted
