They are going to draw down some fluid built up in the knee

Can't say I'm pleased with that

however the burning/shooting pain in my knee will hopefully ease.

The Wife (tm) is going in for an arthroscopy tomorrow, had the MRI/X-ray last week. Before the scan the consultant suspected that an arthroscopy would solve it - a superman flush is what they call it - clean out the junk in the knee and trim cartilage. I've been told by a friend who has had it done 4x that you notice the improvement within an hour or two of the op. The consultant has said that The Wife (tm) should be fit to go skiing in 4 weeks time.

Not sure I need that, and given my fear of needle having one jabbed into my knee is going to be hell
