Lunch turned out to be a sausage cob (crusty, three sausages) as I took advantage of M&S's 2-for-£5 deal on packs of sausages, but don't have much room in the freezer for the second packet (the contents of the first having already been either consumed or frozen)

So lunch for Tuesday and Thursday will also involve sausages, as I cooked the lot

Cheerful news from the Met Office: today is the Equilux, when day and night are equal length (it doesn't happen on the Equinox, due to the Intelligent Designer not being real) - which means for the next six months, night will be longer than day

Tonight's tea was a couple of those M&S breaded chicken bits, with chips - and, what's more oven chips! Well, oven fries. And lots of tomato ketchup. It was all very nice
