Morning all Nice day here, dog walk earlier produced a couple of kilos of bolets, which I'll either dry or serve as part of dinner tonight.

The sheep that have been there most weeks of the past few months moved out a few days ago. Not sure whether to another field, or Sainsbury's…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

In with the incredibly pongy hoi polloi.
Except I'm off to do something more interesting now.
Stone me, it's a bit warm out there.
The walk up the tow path was distinctly different to yesterday's.
Phew wot a scorcher.
Today's dvd haul included "The Klansman" with Lee Marvin & Richard Burton.
I suspect they were both pissed as newts all the way through making it.
The Klansman (1974) - IMDb
Originally posted by The Klansman TriviaAccording to Richard Burton in a 1977 interview, he bumped into Lee Marvin at a party where the host said, "Of course you two know each other".
Both of them said no, they'd never met, neither having any memory of actually working together - such was the extent of their alcoholic state on the set of the film.
The 2nd dvd is "Poodle Springs" a tv movie with James Caan as Phillip Marlowe.
This sounds a bit more promising.
Stone me, it's quiet in here today.
To celebrate the sunny weather I've cut the lawns and gathered up another half cwt of apples.
I am now officially dead.

Home, and weekend!
Not a bad run home really, though the last mile or two was very congested, which tends to detract from the better bitsComment
