    In with the hoi polloi.

The JobCentrePlus(tm) afflicted appear to be few & far between today.

Also the incredibly noisy chaos that was yesterday's Lego club is missing today.

              No rain.

              Someone's borked the weather again.

The walk back from town included the trek up the canal towpath to Tonna.

The building site for the new housing estate of 300(!) 2, 3, & 4 bedroom Baratt rabbit hutches is progressing.

For some odd reason they've dug immensely deep holes right next to the pavement, presumably for drains.

If they go much deeper they'll strike coal.
              WZGS.

Sunny now, though it wasn't earlier.

              And those excavations are enormous.

I assume they're soakaway pits, but they must be at least 25 feet deep with the concrete ring being about 15 feet across.

Presumably to avoid putting rainwater into what passes for a sewer around here.

It'll be fascinating to see if the the drains can cope.

Lunch today consisted of a Peters' steak and kidney pie (Morrisons, unreduced) with, wait for it, Heinz baked beans (Morrisons, unreduced, snackpot, must remember to buy some more).

Still very grey with frequent spells of rain here

Should be better at home by the time I get back there, though
