The train was hotter with the aircon "on" than it was outside.

However, having staggered home past the assorted beggars and drunks that seem to inhabit Neath these days, the dining room is a pleasant 25 deg C, whilst the middle room is 24.

I dread to think what the back bedroom is at.

I can't help thinking that getting the fixings for a beef casserole when I was shopping on Friday wasn't the best idea

Anyway, it's in the oven: steak and ale. I'm not going to eat any of it tonight, I don't think, but that area of the freezer needed topping up.

I'm getting through ice cubes at a fair rate too, but managing to keep on top of demand

          Cottage pie for dinner.

My casserole is doing an excellent job of keeping the kitchen warmed up, despite the going down of the sun

Not sure what to have for dinner. I suppose I ought to have something, but I'm not that hungry, as usual when it's hot

Fish finger cob (crusty) with red sauce was what dinner turned out to be

                    Morning denizens

                    Overcast out there

There's a very slight cool (18°C) breeze occasionally through the kitchen window, but it's too feeble to get as far as the other side of the room, never mind the rest of the flat. The living room remains at a bracing 29°C

And I had a rubbish night's sleep because of the heat, so this caused me to struggle to get started, so now I'm running late. Bring back the continuous light drizzle, I say
