Just watched The Ides of March, starring Ryan Gosling and George Clooney. Not bad, but nothing special; American politics. The message seems to be that you have to be a right bastard to succeed therein. (Nobody called a snap election for no reason, which is also important if you want to succeed in politics )

I noticed on the end credits that it seemed to be a bit of a Clooney-driven project, with him having co-produced it (proper producer, not "executive") and also having top credit on the screenplay, based on a stage play by someone else. Must be nice to be in a position to see a play you think deserves a wider audience, and make it happen

Last evening's entertainment was provided by "Copland" with Sly Stallone, Bob de Niro, Harvey Keitel et al.

It's been in the pile for years.

I see that it's 20 years old, which explains why they all looked so young.

On other, more tedious notes, it's plain that that hubris is a right bitch.

It's another Grocer Heath moment from 1974 43 years later.

And they're talking on the wireless about another election.

        Probably in October.

Somehow, Zeity's bones & water had a feeling this is what was going to happen.

Last night's entertainment was proven by the Tory party along with the people of UK. Remember all "Brexit means Brexit".

The Euroscum in Brussels must be laughing their collective cocks off.

Rather tired this morning so went for a bacon roll and a coffee with extra shot.
