Hassled them via the online chat on their website. Told me they'd be about half an hour. A minute later my phone rings and it's the bloke in the van, also telling me he'll be about half an hour

Yes, they arrived at quarter past six, so just on the half hour they'd promised. The fridge freezer and bed settee have now been removed, and I don't have to sidle quite so much

Also arriving today was the "humane" spider catcher off Amazon, which I just used to evict the occupants of the bathroom. They are now starting a new life in the back yard somewhere below the kitchen window. Well, if a bird doesn't get them
