This evening's repast was, as is usual for a Tuesday, fish, and M&S fish at that, chunky breaded haddock, being, unusually, BBE 2018, the BBE 2014 now having been totally consumed with no noted ill effects.

I suspect that the stewed gooseberries are having a remarkable laxative effect though.

Being Grimmless, this evening's entertainment consisted of the director's commentary on Expendables 2, which was interesting in its way, following on from the director's commentary on Expendables 1 which featured yesterday.

Following this, I managed to stay awake for 20 minutes of "Horizon" which could have stood in for a boring ep of the X files if it had tried a bit harder.

Tabby's star was interesting.

Dunno why they think that suitably advanced species would still be using radio, but there you go.

I suppose you lot will sort out the subspace radio eventually.

Or not, considering how far fusion has got.

A nice bit of Brisket I slow cooked earlier in the week washed down with a pint of Bombardier which Morrissons had for £3.09 for 4 pints odd to see beer on the reduced Aisle. Strangely I bought one or two.

Indeed.

I bought a fair few bottles of 6X when they were reduced to 80p last year sometime.

And I still don't really understand why antifreeze gets reduced unless it's just to clear the shelves for sommat else.
