Turning into a warm afternoon here.
Did 15 songs over 2 sets last night, the two biggest complaints were that the vocals could have been a bit louder and that we didn't do more.
Now going out into the garden.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

So, the first part of Boring VII has been excellent, with topics covered such as concrete, pallets and their standardisation process (currently in disarray due to a falling out between the two main standards and certification bodies), and the dark side of the Argos catalogue
Oh, and Danish Public Information Films 1935 - 1965, including one entitled "The Brick" and another Oscar-nominated one that briefly featured a medium-size dogComment

The alternative antihistamine seems to be working.
Though it's got quite overcast this afternoon.

Exercise done, shopping done, nap had.
Grass not cut - sod it.
Think I will go out for drinks instead."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

And so Boring VII draws to a close; another day well wasted
The afternoon sessions weren't quite as gripping as the morning's. The one on dust was, fittingly I suppose, quite dry.
There was a chap who grew bacteria in Petri dishes, mapped their growth onto a circular grid to quantify it, then turned that data into punched paper rolls which were played through a music box mechanism: that was quite interesting. Clearly didn't read the brief
This time two years ago I was heading to the Bloomsbury Theatre for a tribute to Viv Stanshall, but there's nothing good like that happening in London tonightComment

Oh, and there was the chap who worked out the precise date the Vogons destroyed the Earth in H2G2 using clues from the book: 1 May 1980. It hinges on the fact that it is stated to be a Thursday, and the stuff the barman says to Ford and Arthur in the pub, including a reference to Arsenal playing later that day which they hardly ever have on a Thursday, and the price of the beer which means it must be before 1987 when it would first have cost more than the fiver with which Ford paid, though after 15 February 1971 when decimalisation happened, because of the price of the peanuts being 48pComment
