    Afternoon denizens

Bit cloudy out, but mild enough

Phone call to parents. Mentioning the lurgy that has plagued me led to a detailed recounting of the similar woes over the last couple of weeks of themselves and of various people I barely know, the conclusion being that there's a bug going around.

And mention of my lucky avoidance of the delays caused by the accident that blocked the M1 on Tuesday brought forth memories of a time my brother was held up around that area twenty or so years ago, these two incidents taken together providing ample evidence that "it's a bad stretch of road, that"

Bike ride done, with an added bonus of discovering that I can apply and secure sterile dressings to various portions of my anatomy without assistance.

Road rash is a bugger. Going to be sore for a few days I think.

Next time, take a bike rather than just hurling yourself along the asphalt

            Bacon cob for lunch/afternoon snack

It was a fancy brown M&S roll with oats and such, rather than a cob, but the principle's the same

                Enjoy!

I'm just summoning up the energy to pop down the Chinese for dinner.

                  Alternatively, learn to fly.

                    Dinner has been consumed

And I'm feeling rather tired, or more accurately, still a little hungover

I think I'll get an earlyish night tonight, even though tomorrow is effectively useless to me due to all the other people having the day off too
