The ZeitParents' house has had the heating on since 07:15 this morning & it's still not exactly warm, though drying the washing on the radiators probly doesn't help all that much.

I just popped out to the bins (unbridled hedonism being my thing) and it's horrid out there. It's not even raining or sleeting or windy at the moment, it just feels horribly cold and damp

Went down to the Chinese for dinner. They turned out to be very busy sorting out a sudden flood of orders for delivery. This allowed the manager (or she may be the owner for all I know) to complain about how busy they were, rather than her usual complaint that they aren't busy enough
