Just remembered I've got some of that rehydration stuff next door but it's too cold out there to brave the 10 yards it would take to get it.

Well it may be "blackcurrant" flavoured but it's pretty disgusting.

Now we'll find out if it does anything useful, or more useful than my previous pinch of salt and pinch of sugar approach.

Apparently it's wetter than water* so it must be good.

*rehydrates better, which is down to the combination of the salt & glucose.

Is it any good for hangovers? I vaguely remember somebody once recommending it to me for that, claiming that they had expertise in this area because they made their own wine. It did occur to me that perhaps drinking less of their homemade wine might be a more viable long-term solution for them
